Back in those pre-Britpop early 90s times, I produced and engineered tracks with a forward-looking and quirky band called Illustrious. Main songwriter Paul Gorry makes marketing videos, and has now launched a label with partner Matt Seddon. I’ve been up to York to co-produce tracks with Paul for their first signing The Black Skies – they’ve scored highly in the iTunes charts already. And transatlantic musical sparks flew when US country rockers Hellbound Glory turned up to collaborate.
Now they have signed further artists and I’ve already mixed and mastered these two terrific singles by Leeds-based singer Harry Arnison. And they’ve made a couple of fantastic videos…
