Lauren Ray was a regular visitor to my old Bank Cottage studio and we recorded some fabulous stripped-down live versions of her songs. I last saw her when she was supporting my old mucka Paul Carrack at a gig in early 2020. (I recorded a version of The Living Years with Paul Carrack at Abbey Road in 2016.) Lauren Ray
Lauren is a UK Singer and Songwriter who has firmly established herself as an independent artist who already has one album, two EPs and four big UK & European tours to her name supporting artists such as Rebecca Ferguson, Anastacia and Paul Carrack. With her second studio album titled ‘Woman In The Arena’ already recorded with hit UK producer Julian Emery (Lissie, Nothing But Thieves) and due for release sometime in 2019, Lauren shows no signs of slowing momentum. She has received big UK regional radio support for her singles including support from BBC London and BBC Introducing and has been picked up by UK press including The Telegraph.
