Steve Cradock and Simon Fowler came to my Bank Cottage Studio around 2009 to record and polish up demos for their Saturday album. I added a bit of cello and that was retained in the final album version. They returned to record an extra track Dawn Cried The Day for the 21: The Boxset collection. Popping down the pub while I mixed it, Simon proclaimed it to be “the best recording we’ve ever done”!
